Human Resources Development and Cooperation at Henan University of Technology began in 2008, and it is currently the only national Human Resource Development and Cooperation contractor in Henan Province. Under the guidance of the National Agency for International Cooperation and Development and the Ministry of Commerce of China, and with support from the Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People's Government, Henan Provincial Department of Education, and Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, the university has achieved significant progress in human resource development and cooperation. Since 2016, the university's human resources development and cooperation have entered a rapid development stage, gradually forming a 'three-wheel-drive' model with grain, oil and food, Zhongyuan martial arts, and construction and transportation at the core of multi-field training's high-speed development. By the end of 2022, the university has hosted 108 online and offline human resources development and cooperation programs, teaching more than 2,900 senior food officials and technical experts in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Mongolian, Korean, and Arabic across 110 nations and regions worldwide. Last year, the university reached a collaboration agreement with the United Nations World Food Program to establish a South-South cooperation platform, resulting in the development of a three-dimensional international human resources training model that combines training in China, overseas training, and online training.
